Newman’s Family
A Home Full of Love
Hello, it’s me, Newman. I have been such a lucky boy these past couple months. A nice lady found me wandering around in a park and brought me to her home. She tried really hard to find out who I belonged to but didn’t have any luck so she let me stay at her house for a little while. She had other dogs and cats to take care of so she needed help and that’s when she got in touch with Safe Haven. The two people that came to meet me (who ended up being my foster mom and dad) thought I was a very sweet, well mannered boy so I became a Safe Haven dog. I wasn’t sure what that meant but I had a feeling it was a good thing. I stayed at my foster dad’s home for a week and then my foster mom brought me to her home where I met my foster sister Lacey. I really like her because she is so easy to be around so we spent a lot of time just hanging out together. I am hoping that she will be as lucky as me and find her forever family soon. Anyway, I guess I just spilled the beans on my big news. I found my forever family! My new mom and dad saw me online, met me and fell in love with me. I am now living in a big house with lots of room to roam. I’m already trying to decide where my favorite spots in the house will be, there are so many possibilities! I also have a yard with a pool and patios that overlook the ocean. I can see and hear the waves crashing on the beach below the house which is pretty cool. My mom & dad are so happy and excited to have me. I can’t wait to see what the future will hold, all I know is that my family will give me so much love which is all I ever wanted.
