Hey, Look What I Found!

Well hello there, it is me, Kennedy. The past few weeks have been interesting. I was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter. Then some people came to visit me to see if I am a good dog. They spent a lot of time with me and I showed them what a good girl I am so they rescued me from the shelter. They became my new mom, dad and auntie and it was really cool to have them care about me. I stayed at the clinic auntie works at for a few days so the doctor there could make sure I was healthy and ready to go to my foster home (daddy’s house!). They said I was so daddy picked me up and boy was I surprised when I got home because there were already 6 dogs there! There were new buddies there that were like me, waiting for our forever homes. I had so much fun playing with everyone. Then one morning, daddy took me and my foster brothers Kosmo & Kingston to an adoption event so we can meet people. At the beginning of the event, a nice lady came up to me and talked to me, took me for a walk and gave me love. I realized that she came specifically to meet me, I felt so special. The next day, mommy, daddy and me went to visit that lady’s house. I was happy to see her again and she was so happy to see me too. I started having a feeling that she was going to be my new mom. I am a smart girl and guess what, I was right! My new mom has a lot of land for me to run around, explore and play. She also has a horse and two kittens that she will introduce to me soon. She wants to make sure I am comfortable in my new home first because she knows I have had a lot of new things happen to me in a short time. How cool is that to have a mom that loves me, cares so much about me that she puts me first?? And you know what, I am going to be the best girl I know how to be for her because I love her too!
