My New Beginning

Hi, I’m Jacob. I’ve had a lot of changes in my life in the past month. My first family was losing their home so they gave me to German Shepherd Safe Haven so they can find me a new home. Even though I lived in the backyard in my first home, I loved my family and knew they loved me so I was sad to leave them. In my foster home, I lived inside the house which was so new to me. There were many new things to see and learn about inside the home but my foster brothers and sisters helped me see that being inside with everyone is really fun. As much as I loved being in my foster home, I was hoping to find someone that would be my forever family. I am so happy I didn’t have to wait very long! I met my new mom at an adoption event and then I went to visit her house and met her brother, niece, nephew and neighbor. Everyone was so nice to me and wanted to pet me and play with me. I loved all the attention! I also met the cat which I’m still not sure about but I’m trying to be friends with him. I think he will see I’m just a big goofball and will want to be buddies. Anyway, now I have a big yard to hang out in, kids that will run around and play with me and most importantly, a mom that loves me! I am a lucky boy. Oh yeah, and because my mom loves USC football, go Trojans! That’s for you Mom, I love you!
