Let’s Celebrate!

Hi, I’m Gavin! Today was a fun and exciting day for me. My foster home has officially become my forever home! I got to celebrate my day with my friend Bianca and her parents, my mom and dad who rescued me from the scary shelter and of course my forever family. Another friend came to visit and celebrate too and she brought presents, brand new dog toys! Am I a lucky boy or what?? We took some family photos to remember the day but I’m a little camera shy so I decided to make a game out of it. I made everyone try to chase me down and no one could catch me. And then they brought out a treat. That was the game ender because I love treats! They teased me with it and got me to sit still enough for some photos. But I got my treat so I won! So in the photo is me of course and my cool mom who loves to take me for walks, my human brother that cuddles with me and gives me lots of belly rubs and my two little doggie sisters I look after because I am their big brother! We took the photo in my big backyard that has lots of room to run around in and explore. I have a favorite spot under a big bush where I like to hide out. Sometimes I poke my head out between the leaves to see if anyone knows I’m there and that makes my mom laugh. Once, I found a little critter invading my spot so I took care of it and gave it to my mom as a present. I knew she would be so proud of me for being fast enough to catch it! I think she was so proud, she was speechless. I can’t wait to bring her another present! I was trying today and Bianca even tried to help me but we were not able to get one. Oh well, another day. Anyway, I had so much fun hanging out with my family and friends on my special day. I got lots of love, hugs and kisses from everyone. I can’t imagine a more perfect life!
