From the Downey to Baldwin Park Animal Shelters to my forever home!!

Hi, it’s me, Fargo, the dog that was adopted from the Downey shelter and then returned to the Baldwin Park shelter because I didn’t get along with the family’s son. My future foster dad and Aunt Jen just happened to be in line when I was being returned so it was my lucky day when they decided to rescue me. I was so relieved because I had been at the Downey shelter for a while and the Baldwin Park shelter didn’t seem any better. I was loaded up in the car and we took the trek to my new foster home. Wow, once I got there, there were so many dogs to play with, it was like I went to doggy heaven without passing go!!

The next few weeks were fun and even though I was just a puppy, I had to start behaving and learning the routine. I had a few meet and greets but the families I met were just not a good match for my energy level. I was beginning to feel like a pro going to these meet and greets which was a good thing because my next one ended up being the most important meeting of my life! I met my potential family at the park but they weren’t just interested in me, they were also interested in Naomi, Ireland and Dante. I was up against some tough competition! I did my best to impress them with my personality and guess what? It worked! They decided that it was me that they wanted to adopt! They passed the reference check and home inspection so the following week, we made the drive down to their home. When we arrived, I was so excited that this was going to be my forever home. I had two really cool human brothers to play with and a great mom and dad to guide me through my puppy stages into my adult years. I found my perfect forever home and I am one happy boy!!
