Polly
Hi, my name is Polly, I am a 8 month old female that was dropped off at the shelter with a broken leg. Thank goodness I was rescued but I had to have surgery to repair my leg. It was a very clean break though and I am now all healed up and play like a normal puppy. I am crate and potty trained. I am good with all sizes of dogs but don’t realize how big I am with the smaller dogs and just kinda walk all over them. I am curious about cats but just wonder if they want to play with me. I walk pretty well on a leash but am working on it because you know I am just a puppy and want to run and play without a leash attached to me! I am a very loving girl and love a lot of attention with playing with a ball or toy. I would probably be better in a home with older children, 12 years and up. I am going to be a pretty big girl when I am fully grown. I know sit, down and shake and I am learning some other commands but I am not fully understanding them all yet. I’m a smart girl so I know I will get it soon! My perfect family would be one that knows and understands German Shepherds and puppies. I am going to require a lot of activities in my life and proper balance and boundaries so I can be that awesome dog that I know I can be! I am in a very active foster home and I am a very happy girl. So if you are up for a challenge of a puppy and a very active girl then I am game!
