Fern
Hi, I am Fern, a 5 year old spayed female. I know what you are thinking when you see my picture… I have not had a very good life in the past. My ears have been bitten off by flies and my teeth are totally worn down. But you can also tell that I am not letting my past affect my present life! Hey, the way I look at it, you should not dwell on my past life because life is very short for us dogs. Be free and move on, it is only going to get better! I am a very sweet girl and you will fall in love with me in an instant because I enjoy getting a lot of attention with pets, love and belly rubs. I love to go on car rides and am very good in the car. I am house and crate trained. I walk pretty well on a leash and am good with other dogs on my walks. I like to chew on bones a little but I really don’t have a lot teeth to do it. Like I said before, I am very sweet and just love life right now. I would probably be better with older kids and I tend to get really excited when getting a lot of love at once and might knock younger ones over. I can take toys and balls either way, they are fun but I would rather get more loving than anything else. I tend to be a little pushy with some dogs but as a whole, I get along with all dogs. I know my look on the outside is a little rough but I have a heart the size of Wyoming with so much love to give to a family that will love me for the rest of my life. So please see past my looks and get to know who I am as a dog because you will be pleasantly surprised at what a sweet, loving, silly girl I am. I can be a great, wonderful dog if you give me a chance. You will see it in my eyes once we meet. Come on, fill out an application so we can get this started sooner rather than later!
