Jami’s Story

German Shepherd Safe Haven rescued Jami and Jill from the Devore Animal Shelter on Sunday, December 13th. They were both taken to South Orange County Animal Hospital for an examination and a bath. After they both underwent ultrasounds, it was discovered that Jami was pregnant with puppies due in less than 2 weeks!

UPDATE: January 2016

Jami delivered two healthy puppies on Christmas evening! Momma and puppies are doing well. The two puppies, Drake and Easton, are growing fast.

What We Need Jami is the first momma that we have rescued so we are in need of donations and supplies to help with the care of her and the pups. Below is a list of items that we need:

– Newspapers

– We need a ton of these

– Blankets – No snags, tears, string or fringe

– Towels – Hand towels and bigger

– Puppy collars

– Puppy toys
