Lucky, Our First Pup

Say hi to Lucky, our very first rescue dog. For those of you that followed us from the beginning, you probably recognize him and are as amazed as we are that the tiny ball of fur we rescued in March 2010 has grown up to be a handsome, happy, loving boy. From the time he came into our lives, he has charmed all who have met him with his sweet personality. He is friendly, outgoing and a bit klutzy which makes him so adorable! He loves making friends with people and especially other dogs. Lucky was adopted by his foster family earlier this year and we could not be happier for him! He now has a canine sister Lucy, human brothers Peyton and Trevor and of course, mom and dad, Jill and Reid, who love him as much as we do! Lucky has a very active life, he goes hiking and camping a lot with his family. They take Lucky with them on just about every trip they take. Who could ask for a better life??

To see our first pup come full circle, from being the unwanted runt of his litter to now having a loving family and a happy life, is so fulfilling for us. This is why we continue to do what we do. We know we cannot rescue all the German Shepherds in need but knowing that we are making a difference in the life of each Shepherd we rescue means everything to us.
