My Best Friend

I’ve finally found my forever best friend! I have been waiting for so long for my own forever home, the one that was special enough and perfect just for me. When I went to live with my new dad Brian, I was hoping that we were going to be a good match because I thought he was very cool when we met. I heard him talking about fostering me first but I wasn’t sure what that meant so I made sure I was a very good girl while I was staying with him. He works from home so we got to hang out a lot together. We go for lots of walks and sometimes he even takes me to human hang out places with him. I went to a place called Starbucks which was kinda cool. We also went to a place called Fashion Island but when I first went, I was a little unsure because there was so much to see, smell, hear and there were lots of people there. I’m okay now though because I know my dad will keep me safe. Anyways, today was the big day for me. We took a trip down to a park in the afternoon and I saw my other dad and mom who rescued me from the shelter. I knew something was up because they were there. They were so happy to see me and I was so happy to see them too! They talked to my dad for a while and then he signed some papers and they said “Daisy is officially adopted!” I knew what that meant!! Brian is now my forever dad and best friend! I knew I was perfect for him and I love him so much. I am so happy that he feels the same way about me and made it official!
