Tessa
Hi, my name’s Tessa and I’m an adorable, 11 month old, female, German Shepherd puppy. My foster dad, Tom, says that I have the Panda Shepherd Gene in me because I’ve got that white marking both under my chin and on my nose. I’m house and crate trained and love playing with toys and chewing on bones. And, it’s always almost more fun that I can stand to wrestle around with my foster sister and brother Samantha and Kent. If they play rough with me I give it right back! Sometimes it sounds like I am hurting them but it’s really just all noise. . .plus they have to know that I am not going to take all their roughness without giving it right back. I love to sleep right next to my foster dad’s pillow and I sleep all the night through. Yeah, I know it’s not a good habit, but if you only knew where I had sleep when I was a very young puppy, you would understand why he lets me sleep there. I am just learning to walk on a leash. This isn’t really easy for me because every time I see other dogs I just want to go play with them. I’m a, “Girls just wanna’ have fun kinda’ gal!” But when it comes to my other commands, I do know sit and I am learning down and wait. I’m a very smart girl so it does not take me long to learn new things. My attention span, though longer than that of a hummingbird, is still a bit limited, but it’s all the fault of the puppy in me. So, just remember that I am still a puppy and you’ll need to have patience, understanding, time and the desire to teach me right from wrong. You’ll have to be willing and up for what will at times be a bit of a challenge. If this sounds good to you, I will be the most awesome dog you could ever dream of and I’ll be all yours!! See you soon, Tessa.
