Hi, my name is Grant, I am a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. I am a bit of a goof ball and sometimes I also tend to be kind of puppy and get a little mouthy. My foster dad is working with me on that and he says I am making some progress. He believes that I was a back yard dog that was left back there so I did not have any formal training. I am in a tough training course right now though! I am learning how to walk on a leash and am learning sit and down but that is taking longer than it should because I turn everything into a game. Sometimes I just don’t understand that there is time to play and there is time to train and learn so when I make training a game, my foster dad gets frustrated. It’s a good thing he has patience with me! I am learning, slowly but surely!
I am a sweet boy and I get along with dogs my own size and bigger. I would do best in a home with older children. I can just hang out and be relaxed but I also like to play and run around like crazy. I will settle down when told to though. I am house and crate trained though I can be a little noisy in the crate when I first go in there.
